Arthur Wharton Documentary Screening

We had a very successful screening of The Arthur Wharton Story Documentary at The Void Film Theatre at Sheffield Hallam University.

The Film Theatre was packed to capacity as a group of young people presented impromptu poetry performances  inspired by Arthur Wharton's life.

The screening included a film about FURD's work in schools across South Yorkshire and was attended by the Lord Mayor and footballers Kim Grant and Brendon Batson.

Along with 10 year old Louis Affen and writer Phil Vasili, Kim Grant was also part of the Q & A discussion afterwards.

Attended a screening of director Kevin McDonald's excellent documentary about Robert Nester Marley yesterday at the Showroom Cinema.

I was on the discussion panel afterwards and we had a great chat about what Bob Marley, both music and man, mean to the World today.

I do recommend that you go see the movie!

In January we completed production of several films documenting the rebuilding of Eco friendly homes in North East Sheffield.

We were commissioned by Sheffield City Council and The Energy Saving Trust to create the films documentaries showing the process of making council houses more energy efficient.

The completed films were mastered on high definition video and presented on wall mounted TV monitors installed inside each project property.
